Big Old Trees: The Omega Catalpa

Omega Institute's Signature Catalpa tree

The signature tree of the Omega Institute campus, Rhinebeck, NY, this glorious Catalpa tree has seen some hard times. But since 2005, Jim has been giving it bioenergy healing treatments. And students at our yearly workshop there do too!

June 5, 2005... The Catalpa tree during the time of teaching our first workshop

Notice how thin it is on top. It has many bare branches inside sparse spring growth.

July 27, 2012: Notice the abundant green growth-no bare branches. Also the Catalpa is starting to flower.

Our 2013 Workshop students are receiving a lesson and practicing on the Catalpa

Another class in 2016 are receiving a lesson and practicing on the Catalpa

Ditto in 2017

Teaching much of the whole workshop around the Catalpa in 2018

Learning, practice and holding the graduation ceremony with the Catalpa in 2019

And the whole tree looks fabulous in 2019.

Sadly, Omega Institute had to close down for 2020 because of the virus... but we had permission from the CEO to continue to work on the trees.

The Catalpa still looks GREAT!
