VIDEOs: The River House Ash Tree Builds Abundant Food for Health and EcoPeace Treaty with Emerald Ash Borer

EcoPeace Treaties are based on the philosophies: Live and Let Live and Everybody Wins!

I started doing initial health treatments with this Ash tree in mid-2020. In early March of 2021, we discovered that it had more Emerald Ash Borer larvae (little worms which eventually morph into flying insects) inside of it than we originally thought. So, on this warm day in March, I had to work with the tree to give it a path to healing while co-existing with the Emerald Ash Borer.

That path to healing will begin this way: it will begin to send food up to its leaf buds at the right time in Spring as best it can through blockages in its "tubes"--Xylem (upward flow) and Phloem (downward flow.) Once some leaves come out, it can begin a cycle of producing more and more food. More food will help drive circulation, and more active circulation sends more food to the growing points.

The real key here is working with the health of the tree is such as way that the tree recovers health and also its health supports the EcoPeace Treaty with the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB). For example, the EAB blocks the Phloem tissue so whatever new Phloem tissue develops this year, we are asking that the EAB does not attack that new tissue. Keeping new tissues healthy and functional helps the tree to get healthier.

In return, the healthier tree then can support the EAB larvae to live just where it currently lives and not to spread further throughout the tree. Their spread would hurt the tree more. In that way, the EAB helps the tree to regain its health and the healthier tree supports the life cycle of the EAB.
